After reading the great article by Steven Vegh of the Virginian-Pilot about the Assembly 2007 event, I thought I would create a cartoon. Basically the evangelicals are getting together this weekend at the beach to "reclaim it for God" and that the first settlers came to this land for "Christ". I guess capitalism and freedom of religion had nothing to do with it? It will be a cesspool of televangalists here this weekend. Oy vey.

This is in reaction to Presidential Candidate John McCain's recent speach in his quest to be the next President. When asked about attacking Iran, he sang this response to the tune of the Beach Boy's "Barbara Anne".

Fuzzy memory?

Alberto Gonzales was counted as "not recalling" recent events related to the firing of a group of federal prosecuters as many as 70 times during the hearing this week. Someone smells like a liar.

I spent 5 great years there and now I feel like those years of happiness and fun are way too distant in these tragic times.

A horrible thing has happened and I only wish to send my condolences to all of those people and families involved.
